Former Rivers State Member of Parliament, Namu Robinson Ewuah, has accused the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, of being a subversive.
Naija News reports that the Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader in an interview with Symphoni TV on Wednesday claimed that Wike has never won an election based on the popular vote, adding that the former governor did not claim victory. He claimed that he used violence to get what he wanted.
Mr Namu also said that residents of the state were no longer debating the issue of Mr Wike, adding that despite the conflict between the minister and Governor Siminarayi Hubala, he was optimistic that the latter would secure a second term in office in 2027. showed a certain point of view.
He urged President Bola Tinubu to be cautious with the minister, warning that Mr Wike could turn against him as political events unfold.
He said, “Historically, Wike is a destroyer. He destroyed the PDP and everyone he supported. Therefore, Wike cannot bring anything good or new to this state. .
“For Wike to win the election, the result must be written for Wike. He has never won an election by popular vote. Wike does not believe in elections and does not participate in popular elections. you can’t.
“It doesn’t matter whether Wike is there or not. It is Mr. Rivers’ vote, not Mr. Wike’s vote, that will decide Governor Hubala’s return in 2027. Mr. Wike has one vote, which will determine the governor’s return. It is impossible to lose an election.
“Ever since Wike started playing a prominent role in the PDP, the party started to decline. He has never been a success story for the PDP. Wike has been a disaster for the PDP.
“Mr. Tomihara will definitely get a second term. No one is discussing Wike in this state.”
