Umar Damagum, Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has alleged that some factions want to cash in on the crisis within the party.
Damagumu said this while addressing reporters at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Tuesday.
He claimed he was not aware of any crisis within the party and that people were simply escalating the situation.
“As far as I know, there is no crisis within the party, but people want to make money in this situation. But I blame them, especially the media, which escalates the situation when there is no crisis,” he said. wants you to know that there is no crisis within the party.

Also speaking to reporters at the airport, Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, said the governors and the NWC had resolved all suspensions.
“All these suspensions that you have heard about, the governor, the NWC, the parliamentary group, the BoT, etc. have all been resolved.There is no faction and until the governor and other organs of the party settle down and resolve all the issues. “Under Acting Chairman Damagum, everything has returned to the status quo,” he said.
