The Acting Publicity Secretary of the Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Michael Ogunsina, has submitted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) should not have the courage to talk to Nigerians about elections again.
The PDP leader said Nigerians cannot wait for 2027 to be freed from the suffering inflicted on them by the APC.
According to him, there is no difference between APC and bandits as both spread sadness and tears wherever they go.
Ogunshina made the announcement yesterday in Ibadan in response to claims by APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje that his party plans to take over the governorships of Oyo and Osun states following its victory in the Ondo State polls. The submission was made in a written statement. .
However, the PDP strongman said Mr Ganduje’s words were nothing more than wishful thinking as he said Nigerians pray fervently that they do not experience APC again.
Here is his statement: “There is no difference between a power band called APC and a forest gang called Bandits. Both spread devastation, grief and tears wherever they capture.
“Isn’t it shameful and shocking that our national power grid is collapsing by the hour while the power and greed for more power of the APC leadership is increasing? I shudder to wonder where that government still gets the courage to talk to Nigerians about elections.”
