Ultra Music Festival is preparing to celebrate its 25th anniversary in historic fashion, returning to its longtime home at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami from Friday, March 28, 2025 to Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Ahead of this milestone event, Ultra has announced its impressive Phase 1 lineup. This is a significant roster that further cements our legacy as the world’s premier electronic music festival.

Ultra began announcing its Phase 1 lineup last week by revealing plans to host the first ever world-exclusive Anima b2b solomun performance as a headliner set on the festival’s main stage. An innovative collaboration between Anyma’s cutting-edge audiovisual artistry and Solomun’s renowned technical mastery, this groundbreaking global debut features mesmerizing visual installations, avant-garde sound engineering, and awe-inspiring The combination of evocative stage design creates a timeless, futuristic and immersive experience. .
Shortly after announcing the historic Anyma b2b Solomun set, Ultra has announced even more exciting Solomun news. The Croatian DJ brings his Diynamic record label to the festival for the first time, hosting an exclusive stage at RESISTANCE MegaStructure. Dynamik’s inaugural Ultra Music Festival takeover will feature a solo headliner set from Solomun himself, as well as performances by British electronic experimentalist pioneers Four Tet and Dutch tech house superstars Mau P. It will feature first-time festival performances by esteemed artists.
Ultra’s 25th anniversary celebration wouldn’t be complete without its most iconic figure, Carl Cox. Carl Cox will debut his brand new live show with a headline set at Resistance Megastructure. The legendary British DJ and producer has been a fixture at the festival since DJing the third edition in 2001, shaping Ultra’s legacy with every performance. In 2005, Ultra got off to a groundbreaking start by inviting Cox to curate its own stage, which started out as a modest tent called “Carl Cox & Friends.” Over the past 20 years, that humble tent has evolved into the world-famous RESISTANCE MegaStructure, the ultimate tastemaker for stadium-dominating main stage superstars as well as masters of underground house and techno. Cox has curated numerous stage takes at Ultra over the years, but the 2025 festival will mark the first time the beloved artist will bring his globetrotting Carl Cox Invites brand to the event. Following on from RESISTANCE MegaStructure, ‘Carl Cox Invites’ revolves around Cox’s reputation for bringing together artists who push the boundaries of electronic music, placing him alongside emerging house and techno stars as well as some of the underground’s most in-demand artists. Centered around the debut of Carl Cox’s brand new live show, the Carl Cox Invites stage takeover will feature a plethora of live performances from house and techno heavyweights.
Over the past two decades, Ultra has established itself as a pioneer in some of the most unprecedented performances in dance music history, and the festival’s 25th anniversary celebration raises the bar even higher. In addition to announcing the world’s first Anyma b2b Solomun set, Ultra 2025 will also feature the first-ever world-exclusive Deadmau5 B2B Pendulum DJ set. However, deadmau5 and Pendulum have shared the Ultra stage before – for their performance of “Ghosts ‘N’ Stuff” (with Pendulum’s Rob Swire) when Deadmau5 joined Pendulum during the 2016 main. A collaborative project featuring bassmasters CloZee and LSDREAM, LSZEE will make their monumental Ultra debut at the 2025 festival, fusing their unique sonic landscapes for an unforgettable performance. Following LSDREAM’s solo set in 2022 and CloZee’s solo performance in 2023, this long-awaited collaboration fuses CloZee’s dreamy soundscapes with LSDREAM’s thumping bass to create a transformative and exciting experience. Building on the immersive fluidity of digital manipulation that has become synonymous with Hawtin’s DJ performances, DEX EFX and uses all currently available performance tools. DEX EFX X0X represents the early foundations and future of DJing alike, and represents an exciting evolutionary step in Hawtin’s lifelong commitment to developing the electronic music scene.
Touted as the most international house and techno festival brand, RESISTANCE features headline performances from major underground acts such as Drumcode label boss Adam Beyer and KNTXT mastermind Charlotte de Witte I will. In addition to hosting stage takes from Carl Cox Invites, Diynamic, and ASOT, Ultra 2025 will proudly welcome preeminent hardstyle label Dirty Workz to the UMF Radio stage for the fourth consecutive year. After making history by hosting Ultra’s first-ever hardstyle stage at the 2022 festival, Dirty Works is once again offering a little bit of hardstyle, jumpstyle, and happy hard beats. Continuing the festival’s constant commitment to impressing every inch of the dance floor, Ultra 2025 will feature the festival’s first psytrance stage, curated by powerhouse psytrance duo Vini Vici’s Alteza Records.
