Senator Suleiman Hankui said his return to All Progressive Congress (APC) is due to the efforts of Kaduna Governor Uba Sani.
Naija News reported that former Governor Governor Mukhtar Yelo and Sen. Shea Sanu, among the state’s political stakeholders, had died from the People’s Democrats (PDP) to the control APC.
Members of the 8th Senate condemned Gov. Nasir Elfai for their previous asylum to the PDP.
He praised Governor Sani for reaching out to “people who were kicked out of the APC by former Governor Nasir El-Rufai.”
He stated that he was a founding member of the APC, but Elle Rufay forced him to leave.
“I am one of the founding members of Kaduna’s APC, and while the journey was running smoothly, the driver of the vehicle asked me to adjust to the brakes and drop it off the car. We didn’t argue. We dropped it. But I thank God that Governor Uba Sani has travelled around all the places where people were dropped and brought us back to the car,” he said.
According to the state, Hunkuyi described the governor as a fair leader who “successfully brought us back to the APC.”
