Lele Olinka, an aide to former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has reacted to the recommendation of the state principal’s expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the Da Adeleke-led caretaker committee.
Olayinka described the movement as a political comedy by a community of clowns led by a man who, like a toad, has a tendency to overestimate and exaggerate himself.
In a statement, the aide called on the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) to proceed with Fayose’s ouster rather than making a recommendation to it.
“What are they waiting for? Fayose should be expelled from the party because they have the power to control life and death.
“At the end of the day, their own caretakers have so much power that they can change the structure of the homes they manage for their owners,” Olinka said.
When Adeleke, the Chairman of the Management Committee, was bragging here and there that his mission was to remove Fayose from Ekiti PDP and that he had succeeded in this, Fayose no longer had a life of his own and his own. He asked if he should make a decision.
Olayinka said: “The composition of the committee excluded Fayose and his associates, but we did not complain. We only said that for every action a counter-action should be expected. I did.
“Adeleke constituted a Local Government Caretaker Committee which had no place in the constitution of the PDP and excluded Fayose and his people but we did not complain.
“They held many meetings and boasted that they had removed Fayose from the PDP in Ekiti State, but we still did not complain.
“So what exactly do they want from Fayose? Or when you forbid a man from coming to your house, he has to go to the house of the person who will give you the red carpet reception?” Don’t you have the right to go?
“Now that the task of taking Fayose out of Ekiti PDP is over, shouldn’t Adeleke go back to his base in Ibadan and come back to Ekiti in 2026 to vote for PDP?”
