All Progressives Congress leader and Deputy Campaign Manager for Obi/Dutti in the 2023 elections, Isaac Balami, has criticized party member Joe over his endorsement of Seyi Tinubu as the next governor of Lagos State. He blamed Mr. Igbokwe.

It’s time to change the practices of longevity politics for the benefit of Lagosion.
“There is no doubt that young people are taking over economically and politically. Historically, good governance has been associated with young people in leadership positions. This is a fact that must be protected because he started benefiting from politics early in his life. It was in Lagos that politically reshaped his development.The opportunities afforded to Igbokwe did not begin with his current age. This is why he should leave Seyi Tinubu alone from now on.
