On Saturday, October 5, the proud mother and Substance star reposted the artwork for Scout Willis’ latest single, “Take Me,” along with a touching Instagram message dedicated to her daughter.
“‘TAKE ME’ by @scoutlaruewillis. Beautiful song. Beautiful you,” Moore, 61, captioned the image. “I’m so proud of you, my love!”
Willis, 33, seemed to appreciate the sentiment, commenting, “Thank you mom🥹🫠.”
This song is Willis’ second song of the year under the name Scout LaRue Willis, following “Over and Over.”

Willis last released an album in June 2022, her self-titled debut.
Willis told PEOPLE at the time of the release of his first album that he initially “felt that I shouldn’t or couldn’t pursue music full-time,” but later realized that it was “an extreme way to hide from deep down.” “It’s just a smart way to do it,” he said. At the premiere of The Substance in Los Angeles in September, Scout spoke to PEOPLE about how her mother taught her the importance of appreciating your inner beauty. He called Moore “a model for working to feel better from the inside out.”
“Because I think there are people out there who look very beautiful from the outside but are still very anxious and suffering very much,” she said. Feel sexy and feel embodied. ”

She also praised Moore’s latest film, The Substance. In the film, Moore, who is also the mother of daughters Talulah, 30, and Rumer, 36, plays a celebrity who tries black market drugs to create a younger version of herself.
“I think this movie is great because it pokes fun at it a little bit and gives a satirical critical eye to beauty standards,” Willis said.
