Linkin Park is set to release a new single this week.
The next single from their eighth album From Zero is scheduled to be released this week and is titled Over Each Other.
The album ‘From Zero’ will be released on November 11th and the new song follows the releases of ‘The Emptiness Machine’ and ‘Heavy Is The Crown’.
The song was released on Thursday (October 24th), along with a music video directed by the band’s own Joe Hahn, who also promoted “Numb,” “From The Inside,” and “What I’ve Done.” I plan to ”, “Somewhere I Belong”, and “Emptiness Machine”.
“A few nights after our show in #Seoul, South Korea, @emilyarmstrong and I were in town to shoot the next music video for #OverEachOther," Joe wrote in an Instagram post.
“It was a dream of mine to one day direct a project in Korea and it happened! We embraced all the K-ness and made it feel like a K-drama. As always, Emily absolutely nailed the performance. Linkin Park returned in September with a new singer and drummer.
The Breaking the Habit rockers have been on hiatus since the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington, who took his own life at the age of 41 in 2017, but Dead Sarah singer Emily Arm Strong served as the vocalist, and together with Colin Britten, they ended their self-imposed hiatus. Plays drums in place of Rob Bourdon.
Founding member Mike Shinoda explained in a statement how the band decided to bring Emily back as singer, saying, “The more I worked with Emily and Colin, the more I realized their world-class talent, their We’ve come to enjoy our guys and what we’ve created even more. We feel really empowered by this new lineup and the vibrant, energetic new music we’ve created together. We are still exploring new touchpoints while incorporating the sonic touchpoints that we have known so far.
