This was a double celebration for Nobles Family Church as members commemorated the church’s 10th anniversary of community service, along with Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day.
They commemorated the event with the theme ‘Illuminating’, a timely depiction of how the ‘darkness’ currently experienced by Nigerians will eventually be replaced by the light of economic prosperity and development.
The special occasion was also used to give back to the community through charity work and they appealed to all Nigerians to be stewards of their brothers.
“What we are doing is reaching out to the community and providing what we can in the best way we can,” Bishop Ebie Tuaweri, senior pastor of Nobles Family Church, told reporters on the occasion. There’s food for people to eat, there’s clothes for people to have, there’s people getting haircuts, there’s medical services. So there are several things going on and this is our ministry 10. It’s our way of helping the country as we celebrate anniversaries and anniversaries.”
Boma Bonebo, an elder in the church, said: “There is no point in keeping the goods that God has given us to ourselves. We should be able to release and aristocratic families always reach out to the community. “It provides a means to do so.”
Pastor Prosper Isichei, Vice President of Nobles Family Church, said: “What the church is doing today is reaching out to as few people as possible. There are over 220 million people in Nigeria and we are currently reaching over 500 people. We are reaching out, but we believe this is an important step and that everyone is empowered to take it.
“One of my messages to young people is to young people. As young people, you don’t have to wait until you’re very rich. You can start getting involved in life now. And the volunteers here Most of them are young people.”
Also speaking, Emmanuel Omai, pastor of the Noble Family, said: “The community service this year has been amazing and we give all the glory to God.”
“The International Bible Summit will truly illuminate all the darkness in this country and Nigeria will become great again,” Omai stressed.
Hauwa Mamman, who is thrilled to have benefited from the church’s charity, said: “May God continue to bless the church and its leaders who made this support possible. May good things come into their lives. It’s never lacking.”
Community outreach efforts included free meals, basic health screenings, hair care, games, Samaritan Market for free shopping, counseling, and prayer.
