All Progressives Congress (APC) leader Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has responded to reports that former Transport Minister Chibuike Amaechi regrets his association with the APC and is considering rejoining the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). I denied it.
In a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Monday, Mr. Eze said the rumors circulating on social media were baseless, adding that “mischief makers and media agitators aimed at tarnishing the image of Mr. Amaechi” ” said it was a fabrication.
Mr. Eze further noted that Mr. Amaechi, a prominent figure in the APC, has no intention of abandoning the party’s mission and vision and remains committed to the party’s mission and vision.
Mr. Amaechi, a former Rivers State governor and long-time APC member, played a key role in the development of the party in the South-South region. Eze stressed that his loyalty remains unwavering despite attempts by detractors to stir up controversy.
“Normally I would not have reacted to this deliberate but also fabricated false narrative of a faceless papier-mâché tiger constantly pretending to be Mr. Ibe,” Eze said.
“However, these series of media attacks demonstrate that Mr. Amaechi is a pragmatic political czar, a visionary, a team player and a force to be reckoned with as far as true democratic governance and leadership in Nigeria is concerned. I have no choice but to react because it shows that fact.
“For those of us in the Amaechi camp, we recognize that those who are spreading these lies aimed at negatively impacting the character of the principal are those who are struggling to overcome fear of the unknown syndrome. I am.
“Mr. Amaechi’s silence for more than a year in the country’s political program has caused sleepless nights, unimaginable fear and palpable tension among his critics. Do not use falsehoods to play mind games or drag Amaechi’s reputation into the mud because we see it as a potential threat.”
He further said, “Mr. Amaechi is concerned about the APC-led federal government’s concern over the hostile economic situation in the country, which has clearly been reinforced by the administration’s thoughtless policies that have succeeded in pushing Nigeria to its current unfortunate fate.” “I have spoken out about their incompetence and submissive attitude,” he added. And it has progressively continued to push people deeper and deeper into extreme poverty. ”
