The commission said this is part of activities to commemorate World Investor Week 2024, which will be held from October 7 to 11, 2024.
SEC Director-General Dr. Emomotimi Agama said the clinic will be held in Abuja, Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, adding that the clinic will provide investors with an opportunity to address various issues related to capital market participation. The SEC DG revealed that each day of the week will be packed with activities aimed at informing the investing public and engaging investors.
Agama said we will be meeting with investors in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Kano, as well as at the ICAN conference in Abuja next week. In various locations, stockbrokers can open brokerage accounts locally and registrars can resolve unclaimed dividend issues or mandate electronic dividend accounts.
