Nigerian music sensation Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has sparked another war of words on social media after slamming fellow singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
Drama unfolded on social media after Davido teased part of his first single of 2024 on Tuesday.
Leadership gathered information that Wizkid was scheduled to release the first song of his long-awaited album ‘Morayo’ on the same day.
Davido’s colleague Kayode Yajjar, also known as Black Tycoon, supposedly slammed Wizkid, telling him, “Tell daddy to drop the album already.”
Without mentioning Davido’s name, Wizkid tweeted, “Another half-assed bastard is down,” before adding:
“Unadong Tire! Please give Una a little break!
Speculating that Wizkid’s tweet was about Davido, Davido’s fan commented: “So if you’re not beef @davido then your songs won’t sell?”
Wizkid fired back, saying, “I’m not making fun of black people!” We all know he’s a weirdo! No talent! ”
The award-winning singer apparently called Davido’s art “rubbish.”
However, Davido has not responded or withdrawn his comments regarding the swipe.
