The Chairman of the House of Commons Petroleum Resources Committee (Upstream), the Rt. Alhassan Ado Dogwa has announced that the National Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, will vote out the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 election cycle. Regarding his comment that he is deaf, he explained his assumption as follows: “Hallucination”.
Speaking at a political rally in Kano on Thursday, Kwankwaso said Nigerians, especially northerners, are fed up with the APC and will vote for real change in the 2027 presidential election, Leadership newspaper reported. It is said that
However, Doguwa said in a statement on Friday that Kwankwaso has yet to recover from the defeat he suffered at the hands of President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election and, therefore, the NNPP leader has no illusions about the next election in 2027. He said he was watching.
Doguwa, who represents Tudun Wada/Doguwa Federal Constituency in Kano State House of Representatives, said the former Kano State governor should stop illusions and face his impending retirement from politics in 2027.
“During a political rally on Thursday, my colleague Mr. Kwankwaso, a member of the House of Representatives for the Third Republic, took the illusion seriously when he said that Nigerians are fed up with the APC and will change it in 2027. “As we all know, President Bola, Mr. Ahmed Tinubu is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to return our country to the path of progress and prosperity for the benefit of all,” he said.
The former House of Representatives leader said President Tinubu took over the leadership of the country 16 months ago when the economy was in dire straits in all sectors.
He said that since President Tinubu took office on May 29, 2023, he has worked diligently to correct the fiscal misalignment that is plaguing the country’s economic slump.
Mr Dogwa said that under the Tinubu administration, the country had attracted more than $30 billion in foreign direct investment in 16 months. He said President Tinubu had paid the foreign exchange balance of $7 billion and liquidated over N30 trillion of means and instruments inherited from the previous administration.
“President Tinubu reduced the debt service ratio from 97% to 68% and maintained foreign exchange reserves at $37 billion. Economic stability to stimulate our productive capacity and create more jobs and prosperity at home. A bill was submitted to Parliament just this week,” he said.
In the area of security, Mr Doguwa said the government had arrested over 300 Boko Haram and bandits, including Kachala Khalil Sububu, who have been terrorizing the people of Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina and Kaduna states for over five years. He said he had removed the commander.
He called on Kwankwaso to release Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and cease remote control.
“No matter how much noise Kwankwaso makes, the APC in Kano City is already poised to oust the Kangaroo NNPP government in Kano State in 2027 following the failure of the NNPP, loss of public trust and breach of confidence in the elections. There is.”
Dogwa also said that Kwankwaso lacks the moral compass to represent the North Korean people, adding that his claims are nothing more than whimsical statements that apply to himself.
