Mr Tanim confirmed his decision in a resignation letter dated October 14, 2024, addressed to the party’s District A chairman.
“I would like to take this medium to thank all party leaders who have given me the opportunity to serve in various capacities and for their leadership roles during my stay in the party. Thank you to all of you. It is with this memo that I am no longer a member of the PDP.
“This is a difficult decision for me to make, but I have to resign now. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding,” Tanim said.
